We are the Masterpiece of God’s Creation

For we are God’s Masterpiece: The beauty of the Uniqueness and Diversity in God’s Creation

It is wonderful to explore that we are the Masterpiece of God’s Creation. Some key questions (such as who am I? What is my purpose?) are frequently asked when someone intends to find the meaning of life and the purpose of existence. The Word of God provides meaningful answers to such questions. Here we attempt to shed light on the truth of human uniqueness and the beauty of diversity. The truth is, we are worthy and beloved. We are a masterpiece because we know to whom we belong. He is the body, and we are members. He is the tree, and we are the branches. Let’s look at the giant mountains, observe the beauty of the valleys, view the colors of the rainbow, and notice the flow of the rivers; rather of all wonders, you are the best and most beloved one.

Masterpiece of God’s Creation (Ephesians 2:10)
Ephesians 2:10

Everything is created through the word (Gen 1:1; John 1:3), and all creation showcases His perfection and goodness. Humans are not the only masterpiece of His creation; however, we are authorized to rule and blessed to multiply. He made us a little lower than heavenly beings. God is the maker of all things (Jeremiah 10:16) and created everything, but did not create Himself. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. Moreover, no one is able to compete with the matchless work of God’s creation. From heavenly hosts to earthly beings, everything proclaims His glory and offers praises to Him. God’s wisdom is beyond human understanding and consciousness. With the help of His Spirit, we can comprehend Spirit-consciousness, self-consciousness, and worldly consciousness.

Whatever God created is perfect. In the heart of chaos, he designed the universe and made it systematic (universal laws). Let’s have a look at the beautiful mountains, flowers, water bodies, and seasons together with the entire wonders above, in heaven, and on the earth. Everything is marvelous and full of splendor. What a pleasure to know that we are created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27) and that the garden was the first home. He wonderfully made all things with beauty and perfection. The level of His creation is beyond human imagination. He is a porter, and we are His design. His breath allowed the clay to have life.

Isaiah 64:8

Isaiah 64:8

He blessed us with different gifts and armor (The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit). Nobody can deny His incomparable creation, renewal of spirit, and redemptive love. His love and grace allow us to choose. Let’s use our gifts to serve one another with love and passion. All things are made through Him, who made us altogether beautiful, both visible and invisible. We live in the flow of Spirit. His love makes us free. As it is written, I have given you the Spirit of freedom, power, love, sound mind, and sonship, but not the spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 8:15). By the power of faith, we understand His love and wonders. Our light shines in the deep-rooted love of Christ.

God bless us with unique gifts and services. There are different gifts; however, the end goal of gifts is the same, the contribution to the common good (for the will and glory of God). Our unity in the Lord is the same as the body, which has distinguished organs that perform unique functions for a common purpose. Therefore, in the Lord, we are one body having different members. Not only earthly beings, but heavenly hosts are also created with unique appearances and purposes (like Cherub, Seraphim, and Archangels).

We are wonderfully made and gracefully redeemed by the unfailing love of our Lord. God loves us just as we are. We are chosen and more valuable than a flock of sparrows. We grow and improve ourselves in His magnificent presence and care. God knows us when we are formed in our mother’s womb. Even He knows us before the foundation of the earth. Therefore, we are a masterpiece of God’s creation.
